A few words about Graham Colborne
Founder and CEO of Projetics
Graham Colborne is an accomplished portfolio, programme and project management professional, and has assisted many organisations develop effective project strategies.
As Director for Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Strategy at Projetics he provides services to organisations, assisting them to develop effective corporate solutions for the management of the delivery of the organisation’s strategy through projects and programmes.
At Dundee Precious Metals, Colborne provided consultancy to the CEO and Senior Management team on project governance.
At Barrick Australia-Pacific he restructured project operations across the region and at Silver Chain he designed and implemented the PMO.
The Project Management Institute's Global Executive Council
In 2012 he was invited on to the Project Management Institute’s prestigious “Global Executive Council.” as representative for Barrick Australia-Pacific (one of the two Australian members) and has also made a significant contribution to the profession through participation in associations and committees, the development of examinations and accreditations, as a reviewer for various publications and as an established national conference presenter.
Industry Knowledge
Colborne has applied his knowledge and skills across many different industry sectors including mining, financial services, information technology, health and community care, state and local government, and oil and gas.
PMI Australian National "Distinguished Contribution" Award
Passionate about the profession Colborne enjoys providing training and coaching to those looking to further develop their careers. He has also participated as a mentor in the Australian Institute of Management’s mentoring scheme, and as an assessor for the Prosci change management methodology accreditation.
As a result of activities like those mentioned above Graham Colborne was awarded the Project Management Institute’s inaugral Australian national award for “Distinguished Contribution” to the project management profession at the 2013 Annual Conference in Sydney.
